Letter from the President

Hello!

My name is Stephanie Schlichting, and I am writing on behalf of the Kappa Kappa Chapter of Alpha Omicron Pi. I invite you to take a glimpse into our lives as sorority women, students, and leaders here at Ball State University located in Muncie, IN.

As a freshman in college, I was hesitant in going through Greek recruitment in the fears that I wouldn't be able to find a group of women genuine, kind, and endearing. I was proved wrong the minute I stepped foot into Kappa Kappa's room. AOII touched my heart and made me feel connected to them with in an instant. I was completely wrapped in the steadfast love provided by the women in that room.

This bond was founded by four fearless women who created a timeless foundation for life in hopes of lifelong friendship enriched through shared values and common interests. The sisters who encompass this fraternity are women who believe in each other, inspire one another to strive for ambition, and lead a life loving others. These women have become my best role models, supporters, and motivators, and have shaped me into the woman I am today. I will forever be grateful for Alpha Omicron Pi, an irreplaceable gift that has given me more than I could have ever asked for. As our founder Stella stated, "Of all the blessings we count over, it seems to me none is greater than the consciousness of belonging to a family of thousands of sisters."

I hope this website is a true testament and reflection that Kappa Kappa stands as strong, enriched, and empowered sorority women who continue to impact and change the community around them. Enjoy exploring some of the ways this chapter serves, inspires, educates, and leads across the Ball State community and beyond!

Alpha Love and Mine,

Stephanie Schlichting
